Data protection policy
1 | What are personal data?
Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, such as name, address, telephone number, date of birth or email address. Such data are not processed systematically, but only under specific circumstances.
2 | Why do we collect personal data and for what purposes are they processed?
In general, certain data collected enable us to optimise access to the information requested. For example, your IP address or the default language settings of your browser allow us to display the appropriate version of the website in your preferred language.
Access to certain services via forms, such as the contact form, unsolicited application form, or job application form, as well as access to specific services such as personal accounts providing access to services or tools, may require the collection of personal data in order to provide the requested service, ensure proper follow-up and guarantee data security.
We collect personal data directly from you, with your consent, or based on the information you voluntarily provide to us in writing.
Our website also uses cookies which are not intended to identify users individually. They allow us to analyse navigation paths, visitor origins in aggregate form and, more generally, obtain information that helps us improve the quality of our services and interfaces. You may configure your browser settings to refuse cookies if you wish.
If we receive personal data that are not required or not necessary for the provision of the requested services, such data will be deleted or anonymised.
You have the right not to provide personal data or not to identify yourself. However, in such cases, we may not be able to provide the requested services or information.
3 | Are personal data disclosed to third parties?
As a matter of principle, we do not disclose your personal data to third parties, except for maintenance purposes, services provided by certain suppliers, where required by law, or where you have authorised us to do so. Service providers engaged for data processing or for services necessary to the provision of the services and information offered, whether located in Switzerland or abroad, are contractually bound to ensure confidentiality and compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
The DOSIM Group does not sell personal data and does not share them with third parties except in the cases described above and within the companies and entities of the DOSIM Group.
4 | How are personal data stored and secured?
Personal data are retained for as long as necessary to provide the requested services or information, particularly where tools or services are made available, or in the case of a job application to enable us to contact you should a position matching your profile become available. Such data are protected and secured within our systems against unauthorised access or misuse. Access is strictly limited to authorised persons. Personal data are subsequently deleted or anonymised.
5 | How can you exercise your rights?
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure and deletion of personal data at any time by sending your request by email to: chartedeconfidentialite@dosim.ch
You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.
